Swansea Police would like to share the following information regarding the new emergency notification system, RAVE.
The Town is no longer using CodeRED. In November 2025, Swansea Police notified the community of a nationwide cyberattack against the OnSolve CodeRED emergency notifications system. Following the cyberattack, Swansea decided to switch its emergency notification system, transitioning to RAVE Alerts.
Residents who sign up for alerts will receive mass notifications from Town Hall and public safety departments in the event of an emergency, including major storms, flooding, and more that may require immediate attention for residents.
Residents can sign-up for RAVE Alerts, and enter their phone number and email address.
RAVE also offers an app, Smart911 so residents can access emergency notifications on their mobile phones.
