COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICERS

Community Service Officers help maintain safe traffic flow, support roadway operations, assist the public, and work alongside law enforcement personnel to keep Swansea moving safely.

Pay & Assignments

  • Police-related assignments: $25/hr
  • Traffic detail compensation based on police detail rates
  • Per diem flexible opportunity

Minimum Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • 18+ years old
  • Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Background Investigation Required

Preferred

  • Law enforcement experience helpful (not required)
  • Ability to communicate and work with the public
  • Strong awareness and safety mindset
